The PermaSeal Spray Foam System has the same ability to breathe and combustibility as wood. It meets BS476 Part 1 Surface Spread of Flame and does not present any greater fire risk than the roof rafters.
It also meets BS4370 in respect of core density, compressive, tensile and sheer strength. It has a foam density of 2kg per square metre when applied and set to a thickness of 40mm and a tensile strength of 2.5 psi. These factors combine to provide a high strength to low weight ratio thereby increasing the roof's stability.
When the PermaSeal Spray Foam System is applied to the surface of external roofs it is subsequently covered with an elastomene coating as a weathering agent. This rubberised membrane has an FAA 476 Rating. 'A' Rating in respect of fire penetration an 'A' Rating in respect of spread of fire
Accelerated BBA weathering tests have confirmed that PermaSeal's product retains its physical properties and it is with confidence that we can provide our clients with a 25 year guarantee.
